Equity Indexed Annuity Info

I found a site that mentioned something called an <a href=”http://www.myannuityrate.com/equity-indexed-annuities.php”>equity index annuity</a>.  I found the financial details to be informative.  Some of these act like a ratchet; Each time it goes up, it locks your savings in.  This depends on the design of the annuity.
